Lakeland’s Lincoln Square Neighborhood is Now Full, and It Rocks
If you haven’t heard of Lincoln Square, the Lakeland Community Redevelopment Agency “acquired a 5-acre site that was previously home to 120 functionally obsolescent apartment. In 2016, the property was rezoned for single-family residential development and prototype home designed were completed” (from the CRA project description).
There will soon be 21 beautifully designed homes on the property, right next to an A-rated school (a huge deal: the number one reason corporate leaders won’t move here is the school system). Providing huge incentives for moving in, the neighborhood is now filled with pioneers, smart families and individuals looking to help the city improve. Learn more from the Lakeland CRA Instagram:
The Lincoln Square residential development has given 21 families a chance to be homeowners while hopefully attracting more private investment to the area! We’re in Phase I and can’t wait for this project to be completed.
